Andrea C. Pease

AUBURN | Andrea C. Arezzo Pease, 75, of Auburn, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, Dec. 8, 2018, in the comfort of her home in Camillus with her loving family at her side.

She was born in Auburn, the daughter of the late Andrew and Stella Lukowski Arezzo and had been an area lifelong resident. Andrea was employed for many years as a credit analyst for the National Bank of Auburn. Prior to her retirement, she worked for several years at the Cayuga County Nursing Home in Sennett. Andrea was a devout Catholic and longtime communicant of St. Mary’s Church, where she helped as a wedding coordinator and was a member of their Holy Rosary and Scapular Society. She was a former president of the Jayncees in Auburn and volunteered for several years at the YMCA. Andrea was an excellent cook, baker, and thoroughly enjoyed entertaining her family and friends. One of Andrea’s passions was her masterful maintaining of her gardens over the years. She was most happy when spending time with her family and loved traveling to visit with her five beloved grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Ronald Pease, of Auburn; two children, daughter, Patricia (Edmund) Nunez, of Milwaukee, Wis.; son, Charles (Robin) Pease, of Milford, Mass.; five grandchildren, Gabriela, Edmund, and Joseph Nunez, Aleecia and Kathryn Pease; sister, Marie (Robert) Giannone, of Liverpool; brother, Thomas Arezzo, of Auburn; sister-in-law, Margaret Pease, of Auburn; nephew, Michael (Mary Grace) Giannone; great-nieces, Sophia and Caroline Giannone; as well as many close relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Andrea was predeceased by her father and mother-in-law, Charles and Frances Pease, and sister-in-law, Nancy Pease.

Friends and relatives are invited to greet the family from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Friday morning, Dec. 21, inside of St. Mary’s Church, Clark Street, Auburn, with her Mass of Christian burial to immediately follow at 11 a.m. in the church. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Andrea’s memory to Hospice of CNY or a charity of one’s choice.
