AUBURN | Deborah L. (Wilson) Sobotka, 63, of Auburn, passed away Saturday morning, June 2, 2018, at Auburn Community Hospital.
She was born in Auburn, the daughter of Leonard and Marilyn Wolfanger Wilson and had been a life resident. Deb worked for several years at Currier Plastics, Kwik Fill and more recently TRW. She loved many different types of flowers and animals, especially her feline companions. Debbie cherished the times spent with her family and friends and will be sadly missed by all of them.
In addition to her parents, Deborah is survived by two daughters, Marlaina (Bryce) Sobotka, of Jordan, and Crystal Sobotka, of Auburn; a son, John (Karen) Sobotka III, of Virginia; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 10 siblings, Eugenia (Bob) Schuler, Cathy (Bob) Bell, Brenda (Mark) Wilson, Scott (Jackie) Wilson, Lori (Mike) Hamel, Roland (Cindy) Wilson, Ricky (Laura) Wilson, Brian (Sandy) Wilson, Carol (Mike) Harris, and Joanie (Bob) Wilson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close feline friend, “Lady Bug.”
She was predeceased by her husband, John in 1994, and a daughter, Monika.
Calling hours are from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday with services to immediately follow at 6 p.m. all at the Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St., Auburn. Burial will be at 9 a.m. Thursday in Maple Grove Cemetery in Jordan.
