Dominick E. Cordileone, 88 of Auburn passed away peacefully Tuesday morning July 3,2018 with his family at his side.
> He was born in Auburn on April 30, 1930, the son of the late Antonio and Filomena Antonnacci Cordileone and had been a life resident. Dom worked for many years at the former Alco Products Co., retiring in 1995. He was an avid outdoorsman , especially liked to hunt and was a very talented gardener. Dom always wanted to help others anyway he could. He was ' a jack of all trades' in his own mind of course. His gentle smile and charismatic ways will always be remembered and truly never forgotten.
> He is survived by his best friend and longtime companion, Ann Marie Welsh, two daughters Debra ( Greg) Walczyk, Susan Cordileone, four granddaughters Lindsay ( Al) Miner, Jamie ( Robert) Debois, Toni ( Jason Doak) Holtby, Nichole ( Mike Campbell) Stiles, grandson Scott Walczyk, sister Ann Winters as well as several nieces,nephews and cousins.
> Friends and relatives are invited to join the family this Saturday at 10:00 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church for Dominick's Mass of Christian burial. Calling hours are this Friday from 4-7 pm at Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St.,Auburn.
> Contributions may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, or a charity of ones choice.
