Frederick A. Hutchins

"Frederick A Hutchins, 68, of Auburn, NY passed away unexpectedly Saturday April 27th, 2019 at Auburn Community Hospital. Fred was born June 27th, 1950 in Fulton NY. He co-owned and started Real Deals Dollar Stores in Auburn, NY.

Fred is survived by his wife of 47 years, Margaret (Knight) Hutchins; daughters Marla McGinn and Laura Jackson; two granddaughters Elizabeth and Margaret; brother in-law Danny Knight of Fulton, sister in-laws Luann Knight Constanza of Oswego, Mary (Tim) Colbert of South Carolina, and several nieces and nephews.

Fred will be missed dearly by all knew him. He will be remembered not only for his quick wit and sense of humor, but also for his kindness, generosity, and passion for always finding a “real deal”.

Calling hours for Fred will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm this Thursday at Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee Street, Auburn, NY 13021, with a short service to follow.
