Josephine Ferraraccio

AUBURN — Josephine (Morabito) Ferraraccio, 96, of Auburn, passed away Sunday evening, March 11, 2018 at Auburn Community Hospital.

She was born in Auburn, the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria LaRicci Morabito, and had been a life resident. Prior to her retirement, Josephine had been employed for many years as an X-ray technician at Auburn Memorial Hospital. Josephine was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She led a very simple, private life; keeping her home immaculate was something she took great pride in.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Linda Ferraraccio, of Auburn; six grandchildren, Michael Ferraraccio, J. Casey Ferraraccio, Michele Ferraraccio, Brian Ferraraccio, Kristin Bassett, and Jennifer Pisano; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two nieces, and a nephew.

In addition to her parents, Josephine was predeceased by her husband, Frank Ferraraccio Sr.; her twin sons, Frank Jr. and Joseph; sisters, Jean Nettles, and Angela Franceschelli, and brother, Frank Morabito.

There are no calling hours. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Francis of Assisi Church for Josephine’s Mass of Christian burial. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
