Louis R. Gagliano

AUBURN | Louis R. Gagliano, 79, of Auburn, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2019, at The Commons on St. Anthony Street.

Born in Auburn, he was the son of Clara (Joseph) DeTerlizzi and Paul V. Gagliano. He was affectionately known as “Bunny” by family and friends (having received that nickname as a result of being born on Easter Sunday). He attended Mt. Carmel High School.

He is survived by a loving daughter, Amy Gagliano (friend, David), of Fulton; two brothers, Paul W. (Carole) and Joseph A. (JoAnn) Gagliano, all of Auburn; granddaughter, Ashley (Joshua) Slattery; great-granddaughter, Aubree Rose Ziemba, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Louis cherished his times with his family and will be sorely missed by all.

There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum at the convenience of the family.

Heartfelt appreciations go to the devoted caregivers and staff, specifically those on the 7th floor, for the extraordinary care, compassion, and love shown to Louis while a resident at The Commons.
