AUBURN — Richard A. Guzalak, 77, of Seymour Street, Auburn, passed away peacefully Sunday evening, April 29, 2018 in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Richard, or Dick as he was affectionately known by his family and friends, was born in Auburn, the son of the late Alexander and Julia Dudurich Guzalak and had been a life resident. Dick was a Navy veteran, having served our country honorably during the Cuban Missile Crisis while on the USS Henley. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. Dick also liked to cruise around in his famed 1955 Mercury, follow SU basketball, was an avid bowler and enjoyed taking a few dollars from his friends on the Friday night card games. He cherished the times spent with his family and will be sadly missed by all of them.
