Sandra L. (Hutson) Cecchini

Sandra L. (Hutson) Cecchini, 72, of Sennett passed away after a brief illness on Friday, March 29, 2019 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
    She was born in Auburn, the daughter of the late Lewis and Cecilia Poole Hutson. Sandie was a Central High School graduate, Class of 1964. Sandie treasured her husband, children and embraced every moment as her role as “Grandma Sandie”.  She loved her home and took much pride in her beautiful yard. She especially enjoyed her annual family camping trips to Fair Haven and fishing in her canoe at the “Magic Hour”. Sandie was also a gifted artist who loved to garden and paint, and left behind many works of art for her family to cherish. Her greatest love and most cherished times were those spent with her family. Sandie's beautiful smile and warm personality will be remembered by all who were fortunate to know her.
   She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Bernie J. Cecchini, two children, son Bernie L. (Karen) Cecchini , daughter Bridget (Jeff) Herrick. Her seven grandsons, Bernie, Brandon, Bryce Cecchini and Joshua, Jacob, Justin and Joseph Herrick, three sisters:Diane Hutson, Jill (Bob) Dello Stritto , Mary Lou (Ted) Hrycko, a brother James (Elaine) Hutson as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

    Friends and relatives are invited to join the family Wednesday for calling hours inside Sacred Heart Church from 10:30 am until 12:15 pm with Sandie's Mass of Christian burial to immediately follow at 12:30 pm in the church, 90 Melrose Rd.,Owasco.  Contributions may be made in Sandra's memory to the American Cancer Society, c/o Hope Lodge, Rochester,NY 14620.
