Thomas R. Treat

Thomas R. Treat, 80 of Auburn, passed away peacefully Friday July 13,2018 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, with his loving family at his side.
He was a life resident of Auburn, the son of the late Lionel and Alice Harris Treat. Tom was a West High School graduate , class of 1956. He was a communicant of Holy Family Church and a member of the SK Post. Prior to his retirement, Tom had been employed for more than 35 years at the former New Process Gear in Syracuse.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Patricia Dolan Treat of Auburn, two children, daughter Kimberly ( Mike) Treat, son Thomas W. ( Tammy) Treat all of Auburn, three grandchildren Stacie and  Lindsey Treat, Patrick Sheehan, a brother William ( Betty) Treat of Port Byron, brother-in-laws Bill, Tom and Jim Dolan, special aunts Irene Bashta, Ann Bandas, very close friends Lucy Cacciotti, Judy Keogan and the Smith and Martin families of Syracuse as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There are no calling hours.
Friends and relatives are invited to join the family this Tuesday at 10:00 am in Holy Family Church, for Tom's Mass of Christian burial with the pastor, Rev. John Gathenya officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Holy Family Church or the Chapel House
