Albert D. Hughes III

Albert D. Hughes III, 69 of Auburn passed away unexpectedly, Sunday May 15, 2022 at Auburn Community Hospital.

He was born in Flint, MI , the son of the late Albert and Jeanette ( King ) Hughes and resided in the area for most of his life. Al worked several jobs, including more than 20 years at SL Auburn Inc., maker of spark plugs in Auburn. He was an Army veteran serving our country honorably during the 1970's.

Albert has numerous relatives, including his wife of 47 years, Mary ( Cole ) Hughes.

A calling hour will be held next Tuesday, May 24th from 5 to 6 pm in the Pettigrass Funeral Home, with a prayer service to immediately follow at 6 :00 pm. Military honors will be performed at the conclusion of the services.
