Albert ‘Don’ Kotwica Jr.

Albert 'Don' Kotwica Jr., passed away, after a brief illness at home on January 1, 2025 with his loving family present.

  'Don' , as he was affectionately known, loved animals, especially horses and goats and spent his life surrounded by them. Together with his wife, Kay, they successfully showed horses and goats for many years. Don previously worked for H.P. Hood in Vernon, NY for more than 40 years, retiring as a fleet maintenance manager. Don was a very loving husband and father. He was extremely proud of his children and cherished all the special times spent with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.

  He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Kay (Downing) Kotwica, son Mark (Amy) Kotwica, daughter Jennifer (Derrick Fowler) Kotwica,, grandchildren,  William and Jeremy Kotwica, Nathan and Elizabeth Fowler, brother Paul (Joan) Kotwica and their sons Jacob and Caleb.

  He was predeceased by his parents, Kathleen and Albert 'Don' Kotwica Sr. and brother James Kotwica.

  A private service will be held by the family at a later date and time.
