Ann Marie (Fiermonte) Welsh

Ann Marie (Fiermonte) Welsh, 85 of the Boyle Center, Auburn passed away Thursday morning June 6, 2024, at The Commons on St. Anthony.

  She was a lifelong resident of Auburn, the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Margherita (Lotito) Fiermonte.  Ann was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church for most of her life. She previously was employed by Smith Corona and later TRW in Auburn. Ann enjoyed her time spent at the Boyle Center, making numerous friends and being involved in many of their social activities. Ann also liked trying her luck with a few scratch off lottery tickets and really enjoyed the many trips to Montreal with her close companion, Dominick. 

  Ann is survived by her four nephews and one niece, John (Margaret 'Peggy) Tabone, Anthony (Corinne) Tabone, Elaine (Mark) Tucker, John (Sue) Fiermonte Jr., Alan Fiermonte, several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

  In addition to her parents, Ann was also predeceased by her husband, David Welsh, longtime companion Dominick Cordileone, two sisters Catherine 'Dolly' Tabone, Rose Fiermonte and brother John Fiermonte Sr.

  A calling hour for family and friends will be held Friday, June 14th inside of St. Francis of Assisi Church, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am with her Mass of Christian burial to immediately follow at 11:00 am. Burial is in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
