Arlene Seamans

Arlene (Heir) Seamans, 89 of Auburn passed away Wednesday July 24, 2026, at The Commons on Saint Anthony.

  She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of the late Walter and Alice (Arnold) Heir. Arlene loved helping others and was a volunteer for more than 10 years for the Throop Fire Department. She was an avid animal lover and spent many years volunteering at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse. Arlene enjoyed traveling and was fortunate to visit many locations over her lifetime.

  She is survived by her children, James Seamans and his wife Joanie Elice, Charles Seamans, Brian Bell and three grandchildren, Morgan, B.J. and Ashley.

  In addition to her parents, Arlene was predeceased by her husband Calvin and a daughter Joann Hess.

  A private burial service will be held in Fort Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
