Audrey C. Nurse

Audrey C . Nurse, 84 passed away unexpectedly at her home on January 15,2025.

  She was born in Barbados and resided in England and New York City for many years before relocating to Auburn in 2010. Audrey retired from the Queensboro Council in Queens after many years of exemplary work in the social welfare department, touching the lives of many for the greater good. Audrey had a great work ethic and lived life in her own manner. She always followed her mind never wavered, facing life head on.

  She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Shepherd, Sonja Cobham, grandson Jesse (Sabrina) Shepherd, great-grandchild Freya Shepherd, a sister Marva Drakes, several nieces, nephews and cousins
