Bernadette M. (Gagné) Brame, 82 of Auburn passed away Tuesday evening, October 15, 2024 at Auburn Community Hospital, with her loving family at her side.
She was born in Edmundston, Canada in the province of New Brunswick, to the late Jules and Alvina ( Poirier) Gagné. She lived most of her life in the Auburn area and was a longtime registered nurse. After having her family, she dedicated her life to caring for them. Bernadette was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church. She enjoyed traveling,
knitting, cross-stitching and was an avid reader. She was affectionately known by her grandchildren as Mémé . She loved attending any of her grandchildren’s events, whether it was a dance recital, a band or chorus concert, a musical, a soccer or field hockey game , Mémé, could always be found cheering and rooting on her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 57 years, Thomas Brame, beloved daughter and best friend, Daphné (Joseph) Pettigrass, two adored grandchildren, Sophie and Christopher Pettigrass, two sisters, Hélène Martin, Juliette (Réal) St. Onge, one niece, several nephews and cousins.
A calling hour will be held this Saturday, October 19th from 10:30 am until 11:30 am inside of Pettigrass Funeral, 196 Genesee Street,
Bernadette’s Mass of Christian burial will follow the calling hour this Saturday , October 19th at 12:00 pm in St. Mary’s Church, Clark Street, Auburn.
