Betty Jane Warner, 85 of Union Springs, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home, Sunday evening, October 20,2024.
She was born in Auburn to the late Joseph and Cora (Byam) Gillett and had been a life resident of the area. Betty loved being around her family and especially enjoyed raising her grandchildren. She was an excellent cook, baker and cherished the many special memories she was fortunate to have with them. If she wasn’t with her family, she was probably playing her favorite, pastime event, ‘BINGO’ !
She is survived by her loving three children, Ricky Warner, Kimberly (Kevin) Ellers, Stephen Warner, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and very close granddaughter, Ashley Ellers and great- grandson Gabriel Ellers, a brother Bob Gillett as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Betty was also predeceased by her husband David Warner Sr., a son David Warner Jr., daughter Cindy Amodei and several siblings.
Calling hours are this Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, with a service to immediately follow at 6:00 pm, all inside of Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St., Auburn.
