Charles T. Carroll

Charles T. Carroll, 86 of Auburn passed away Sunday, December 19,2021 at the Veterans Hospital in Syracuse.
  He was born in Auburn, the son of the late Francis and Annabelle ( Smith ) Carroll. He was an Army veteran during the Korean War having served our country honorably. Charles retired as the superintendent for General Crushed Stone in Skaneateles, where he was employed for more than 35 years.  He was a former member and past  commander of the VFW Post and frequented the SK Post on a regular basis . Charles enjoyed golfing at various local clubs in the area.  He cherished the times spent with his family and will be sadly missed .
  He is survived by his loving children, Diane ( Michael) Ackerman, Melanie Cornish, Linda Carroll, Thomas ( Brandy) Carroll, two step- daughters Kelly Galler, Terri Andrews , several grandchildren four great- grandchildren, two siblings MaryAnn Fritz, Donald ( Rose) Carroll as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
  In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his wife Marcia.
  Calling hours are Saturday, January 8th from 12-2 pm with services to follow , all in the Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St., Auburn.
