Charles Maurice Corpron, 94, formerly of Massena, NY passed away peacefully Sunday night October 4 in Auburn, NY at The Commons on St. Anthony. He was born in Massena to the late Charles W. and Margaret (Clement) Corpron. The past 8 years he resided in North Syracuse and Auburn to be closer to his family. He was predeceased by his wife Madeleine in 2004. Survivors are: four daughters; Brenda (Peter) Brown of Liverpool, Jacqueline (Gary) Giannotta of Auburn, Margaret (Sean) Lunderman of Syracuse, Karen (Samuel) Mallaro of North Syracuse; ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in the Pacific theater as a gunner aboard an LCS ship and retired from the St. Lawrence Seaway Corporation as a lock master. Charles enjoyed spending summers with family at his camp on the St. Lawrence River and winters with his wife in Mims, Florida. He was loved and will be missed. A private service will be held at a later date.
