Cynthia ‘Cindy’ Hitchcock Obituary

Cynthia ‘Cindy’ L. Hitchcock, 74 of Port Byron, NY passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on February 6,2026.
 She was born in El Paso, TX and resided in several locations before finally settling down in the Port Byron area. ‘Cindy’ as she was affectionately known by her  family and friends was a longtime beautician and skilled hairdresser. She was an avid bowler and card player. Cindy also loved Chinese food and throughly enjoyed dining at various restaurants, especially at Sakura  with her good friend Denise.  Cindy will be greatly missed.
 She is survived by her favorite and loving son, Richard ( Leah) Hitchcock, step-grandchildren Cimberly Baldwin and Gregory Baldwin, sister-in-law Deborah Hitchcock, brother-in-law Ronald (Michele) Hitchcock, niece Kelly Hitchcock, great nephews Dakota Lupien, Kaydon Hitchcock, a sister, two brothers, several other relatives, friends and beloved canine friend. Precious.

  In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband Alan Hitchcock.
 A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held Sunday, February 15,2026 at 2:00 pm in the Family of God Church in Savannah, NY.
If Cindy had one last thing to tell you , it would most likely be, ‘You’re a ‘Brat’ !
