Dale R. Lang, 69 of Auburn passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home, on Thursday afternoon , October 2, 2025 with his loving wife at his side.
He was a lifelong resident of Auburn, the son of the late Alex and Lorentina (Schweitz) Lang. Dale was a master craftsman and carpenter, having built several homes and constructed many beautiful pieces over the years. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed bowling in his earlier years. Dale loved following his beloved New York Yankees baseball team. He was an enormous animal lover, and had a special fondness for dogs. He will be greatly missed and held tightly in the hearts of those that loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Charlene (Campbell) Lang, two children, daughter Janette (Steven) Mahunik , son Scott (Amy) Shirley, five grandchildren, Ashley Patterson, Lillie Shirley, Meghan,Noah and Owen Mahunik, five siblings, Beverly Sylvester, Alan (Peg) Lang, Cindy (Mark) Robinson, Donna Dyson, Mark (Brenda) Lang as well as several nieces,nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by a brother Alex Lang Jr.
As were Dale’s wishes, there are no services.
