David H. Warner Jr., 65, of Union Springs, passed away, Friday morning, February 2, 2024, at Auburn Community Hospital.
He was born in Auburn, the son of Betty (Gillette) and the late David H. Warner Sr. Dave attended Union Springs schools and soon enlisted into the Army, where he would serve our country proudly and honorably in both the Army and the National Guard. He worked for many years at the former T.R.W. Plant in Union Springs, before getting injured on the job. Dave was an avid outdoorsman, and especially enjoyed camping and taking in the beautiful scenery and nature that surrounded him. Dave will always be remembered as a very loving father, son, brother and papa. He will be sadly missed.
In addition to his mother, Betty, he is survived by children, Melissa Silliman, Bradley Walter, Andrew Walter, Alicia Warner, Christopher warner, seven grandchildren, three siblings, Ricky Warner, Kimberly Ellers, Stephen Warner as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his father David and a sister Cindy Amodei.
Calling hours are this Sunday from 12-2 pm in Pettigrass Funeral Home, with a service to immediately follow at 2pm, all in the funeral home, 196 Genesee St., Auburn.
