Diane Foisia Obituary


Diane Marie Foisia, 61 of Auburn passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home, Sunday evening July 1,2018, surrounded by her loving family.
> She was born in Auburn the daughter of Frederick Sr.  and the late Roseanne Strong Eberhardt and spent most of her earlier years growing up in the Town of Niles. Diane attended Moravia High School and also went to  Cayuga Community College. Prior to her disability , Diane had been employed for several years by the former McQuay International Co. Some of her hobbies included, knitting, working with ceramics, jigsaw puzzles, collecting crystal figurines and just about anything that has to with Christmas. Her home would always be beautifully decorated inside and out around the blessed holiday. Diane's most favorite and most special times, were those spent with her family. She cherished all the memories that she was fortunate enough to share with each of them and will be sadly missed .
> She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Jay Foisia of Auburn, four children , Sarah ( Paul) Day of Buffalo, Jay Jr of Auburn, Jeremy and his fiancé Karissa of Liverpool, Nicholas ( Rayette) of Camillus , four grandchildren Kirsten ( Kota) , Dakota, Nico, Emma, a great- granddaughter Annalaine, four siblings Deborah and Candace  Eberhardt, Patricia ( Jerry) Vona, Frederick ( Barbara) Eberhardt II as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and her six beloved canine companions.
> In addition to her mother, Diane was predeceased by a great- grandson Kasey.
> As we're Diane's wishes, there are no calling hours or services.
> Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Finger Lakes, 1130 CorporateDr.,Auburn, NY 13021.
