Diane Marie (Gallaro) Vinciguerra 72, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025.
She was a lifelong resident of Auburn. Diane graduated from West High School. She began her career in retail for Fay's Drugs which changed owners and names throughout the years, lastly as Rite Aid. Diane was a very hardworking woman, always giving her all to everything she did. She enjoyed the customers she met and befriended over the years, as well as those she worked with. Diane enjoyed time spent with her family and dear friends Nancy Flynn, Sandy and Nancy. Diane married James (Rusty) Vincugerra in 1972 and they enjoyed traveling over the years to many different states and areas. Throughout the years they also enjoyed having various family get togethers at their home. They loved their home and spending time there as well as going for rides together just to enjoy the sights. Diane was a loving daughter, sister, devoted wife, a loving and doting aunt, great aunt, cousin and loyal and good friend to many.
She is survived by her sister, Fran (Jim) Hanley, and her brother John Gallaro, as well as her nephews, Scott (Jen) Gallaro, and Tim Hanley, and a niece Shara Bolster. She is also survived by her great-nephews, Owen and Kaleb Bolster.
Diane's husband Rusty predeceased her as well as her parents James and Theresa Gallaro and nephew Brian Hanley.
Per Diane's request there will be no calling hours. A service will be held this Tuesday, January 14th at 10:30 am for Diane in the Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St., Auburn, with the Rev. Louis Vasile officiating.
There will be private family burial services at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
