Edward ‘Eddie’ Szot

Edward “Eddie” Szot passed away at home on August 16th with his family by his side. 

Ed was born March 17th, 1942 the son of Adolph and Jenny Szot. In addition to his parents he was pre deceased by his daughter Shireen Szot. 

He is survived by his wife Joanne and daughter Elizabeth. 

Ed worked as a tooling engineer and along with being an avid golfer, he loved gardening and spending time with loved ones. 

He was a lifelong resident of Auburn and member of the Knights of Columbus. 

A calling hour will be held next Tuesday, August 27th from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, with his Mass of Christian burial to immediately follow at 11:00 am, all inside of St. Mary’s Church.

In lieu of gifts the family is asking for donations to Hospice of Central NY and of the Finger Lakes or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
