Eileen M. McElwain

Eileen M. McElwain, 65, passed away March 20, 2026, with her loving family by her side. 

Eileen was born August 16, 1960, the daughter of the late Jerome and Ann (Laraway) Urbanik.  She worked as a factory worker for many years, first at TRW, then at Hand Held Products, before her desire to care for others led her to complete nursing school and become a nurse, a profession she continued until she retired.  Eileen truly loved just being outside in the fresh air, whether it was lying in the sun, just relaxing on the porch, or having a fire at night.  But her absolute favorite activity was spending time with her kids, grandkids, and loving husband. 

She is survived by her mother Ann Urbanik and sister Laurie (Al) Shaffer; her devoted husband Bill McElwain and his daughter Lindsey Atkins; her daughter Nicole (Tim) Clark; her sons Anthony (Kaycee) Guarnieri and Mike (Elyshia) Guarnieri; her six grandchildren Bella, Michael, Alex, Eva, Zach, and Leonna; as well as an uncle, several aunts, nephews, and cousins. 

Eileen was predeceased by her father Jerome Urbanik. 

The family will be holding calling hours for close friends and relatives at Pettigrass Funeral Home on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m, with services to immediately follow.
