Elizabeth 'Liz' Sholes

Elizabeth Sholes of Jordan, NY died Monday, November 13, 2023, at VanDuyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.

Elizabeth was born on January 29th, 1938, in the Town of Sennett. She was the daughter of the late Margaret (Stahl) and Wesley Decker. She attended Weedsport and Port Byron Schools. Elizabeth was united in marriage to Robert John Sholes on October 5th, 1957.

She is survived by her son Robert Sholes (spouse Eva), daughter Karen and son William, 5 grandchildren and several great grandchildren as well as brothers Charles and David Decker.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert and daughter Donna Morris.

'Liz' was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening and her many pets over the years.

In lieu of a funeral, a celebration of life will be scheduled in the spring.
