Francis E. Tortorici II, 80 of Auburn passed away peacefully, Friday May 16,2025 at The Commons on Saint Anthony.
He was born in Auburn, the son of the late Francis and Mary (Chickette) Tortorici and had resided in the Buffalo area for a portion of his life, until returning back home to be closer to family and friends. Frank was a very proud US Navy veteran serving our country honorably during the 1960’s. He was a longtime professional driver for various companies, including Onondaga Coach and Centro. Frank previously worked for Sylvania and General Electric as well as several other companies throughout the years. Frank enjoyed bowling, golfing and following his beloved Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. He loved being around people and sharing a good laugh or story with each of them. To have met Frankie, is an experience you would never forget.
He is survived by his loving children, daughter Theresa Love and son Thomas Tortorici , five grandchildren, Traevon Tortorici, Teirnan and Taeonnie Love, Courtnee and Anthony Tortorici, three great-grandchildren Tadius, Traevon Jr. and Willow, a sister-in-law Mary Ann Tortorici as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by a brother Leo Tortorici and son-in-law Johnnie Love.
A calling hour for family and friends will be held Wednesday, May 28th from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, with Frank’s mass to immediately follow at 11:00 am, all inside of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Clark St., Auburn, NY 13021.
