He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church. Max served our country honorably in the Navy aboard the USS DeLong. He retired after 32 years of service for General Electric as a financial analyst. Max is well known as the mayor of the YMCA, having been a lifetime member and a racquetball legend. He enjoyed staying active; kayaking, traveling, and played recreational softball for many years. Max was an avid Green Bay Packers and New York Yankees sports fan.
Above all else, Max cherished his family and the many special memories he was fortunate enough to have with them.
In addition to his parents, Max was predeceased by his first wife and mother of his 8 children, Lucy (Pulvere) Gentile and his granddaughter, Jessica Gentile.
Max will be sadly missed by everyone who had the pleasure to share in his company.
