Frederick Robinson Sr. Obituary

Frederick R. Robinson Sr., 82 of Throop passed away peacefully at his home early Thursday morning, with his loving family in his heart.
 Fred was born in Auburn, the son of the late Frederick C. and Martha ( Smith) Robinson, and had resided all of his life in Throop. Fred formerly worked for Local 802 Pieliner and retired from Local 267 Steamfitters , where he was a highly skilled  pipefitter and welder. He was an avid deer and duck hunter.  Fred also helped the family with the  many acres of crop farming that they harvested.  He will be sadly missed. 
 He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years , Valerie (Warren) Robinson of Throop, children, Wendy ( Marty) Goldman of Auburn, Frederick ( Carrie) R. Robinson Jr. of Throop, Vicki ( Rick) Chase, Martha Robinson both of Cato , grandchildren, Julia Ruth ( Will) Prinzi, Ricky Chase, Nick Chase, Freddie ( Marissa) Finewood, two sisters, Nancy ( Gordon) Nicholson of Fla., Monie (Ron) Benko of Denver, CO., several nieces nephews, cousins and his beloved  companions, Sam, Shorty and Bambi. 
 In addition to his parents , Fred was also predeceased by his favorite cat, Jack.
 As were Fred’s wishes, there are no services.
 Due to Fred’s love of animals, the family is requesting any donations made in his memory, be made to the Weedsport Animal Hospital, c/o Tess Fund, 2602 W. Brutus St., Weedsport, NY 13166.
