Genevieve (Slaski) Wawrzaszek

Genevieve (Slaski) Wawrzaszek, 92 of Auburn passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Finger Lakes Center For Living.

  She was a life resident of Auburn, the daughter of the late John and Victoria (Szozda) Slaski.  Genevieve worked for several years as a secretary for the Bombersbach Insurance Agency on State Street. She was a longtime communicant and very active member of St. Hyacinth's Church, where she could often be found making the pierogies, baking the Babka bread or working the yearly picnics.  

  She is survived by her loving brother, Joseph 'Jerry' Slaski and his wife Ida, a sister, Theodora Chapman as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

  In addition to her parents, Genevieve was also predeceased by her husband, Alphonse and a brother Victor Slaski.

  Friends and relatives are invited to join the family (today) July 20th at 10:30 am for Genevieve's Mass of Christian burial in St. Hyacinth's Church, 61 Pulaski St.,Auburn
