Gloria VanHout, 83 of Port Byron, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 7,2025 at Auburn Community Hospital.
She was born in Auburn, the daughter of the late Marshall and Louise (Carr) Behm and had resided most of her life in Port Byron. Gloria retired after a lengthy career in banking. She was a former member of the Port Byron Seniors. Gloria was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by our loving daughter, Stephanie, Nervina, and her husband Paul , two grandchildren, Megan Nervina and companion William Bates , and Amanda VanHout, five great-grandchildren, Abigail, Wesley, Spencer, Anthony Jr. and Myla Faye , a sister Marcia Dennis and her husband Randy, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents , she was also predeceased by her husband, Herbert, a son Joseph VanHout and a sister Bonnie Westover.
