Gregory S. Keevil, 64 of Auburn passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 22, 2023. He was born in Indianapolis, the son of the late Robert and Patricia (Ellig) Keevil and had resided in numerous areas before locating to Central New York for most of his life. Greg graduated from Liverpool High School and received his bachelor’s degree from SUNY Cortland. Greg previously worked for CNY Coin Machine and spent the last 20 years self-employed for his own business ventures. He was proud to be a trustee of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie.
Greg enjoyed playing tennis, traveling, taking an occasional trip to one of our local casinos and sharing a drink with family and friends, especially if it was labeled Johnnie Walker. He was unfailingly funny, incredibly generous, and always showed up for the people he loved. He was the life of every party and will be sadly missed but forever remembered as charismatic, fun-loving, and caring by all who got to know him.
He is survived by the love of his life and best friend, Gina Lamannis of Auburn, a brother Chris (Lori) Keevil, a nephew Brian (Leanna) Keevil, two nieces, Liz (Thomas) Marro, Jillian (Josh) Martin, a great niece and several great nephews, as well as his mother-in-law Rose Lamannis and sister-in-law, Tammy (Tim) Reilly, nieces Kayla and Brianna O’Hora and several other relatives and friends.
Calling hours are this Thursday from 5 to 7 pm with services to immediately follow at 7 pm, all inside of Pettigrass Funeral Home,196 Genesee St., Auburn.
