Jared Seiple Obituary

Jared J. Seiple, 87 of Savannah passed away December 23,2021 at Auburn Community Hospital.
He was born in Lakewood,Ohio, the son of the late Harold and Grace ( Jordan) Seiple . Jared was a US Navy veteran having served our country honorably during the Korean War.  He worked as a quality engineer for General Electric Company in Syracuse for many years. Jer also received his C.D.L. ( Commercial  Driver’s License) , and drove truck well into his seventies .
Captain Jared, was another title he acquired , as he charted boat excursions in Sandy Ponds for several years. In his later years, he became an ordained Methodist minister. Jared’s most significant accomplishment was surviving a lung transplant for more than 18 years, when he told that six or seven years would be the maximum length of time that he would survive. He loved life too much to give up, and gave that love to everyone around him . Jared also loved animals and could fix just about anything . He will be sadly missed.
