Jason R. Sperato, 53 passed away Monday, January 20, 2025. Born in Syracuse, NY, Jason lived most of his adult life in the Auburn area. He spent much of his working career in the construction industry as a carpenter for the last 20 years with the Bouley Companies in Auburn. He worked his fingers to the bone and always showed up for the show down. Jason was a dedicated and proud craftsman and always took the time to teach the next generation of workers. He will be deeply missed.
Jason had a knack for preparing meals, especially barbeque. He was not shy about eating any meal that he prepared or was prepared for him. Jason was always quick to throw a good joke at you and his sense of humor was contagious. Jason was an extremely kind and generous individual with a huge heart. If someone was in need, Jason would be the first one in line to help out in any way he could.
