JoAnne M. (LoPiccolo) Stilwell, 75 of Auburn passed away peacefully Sunday, December 10, 2023 at the Finger Lakes Center For Living.
She was a lifelong resident of Auburn, the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Spagnola) LoPiccolo. JoAnne graduated from Mt. Carmel High School, Class of 1966 and received her associate degree from Auburn Community College. She retired from Hillside Children's Center after several years of service. She also enjoyed an occasional trip to one of our local casino's.
She is survived by her loving son, Robert J. Stilwell (Tina), sister Nancy (Ronald) Hart, brother Joseph LoPiccolo (Anne Carnicelli) as well as several close friends.
In addition to her parents, JoAnne was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband Howard 'Howie' in 2003 and several aunts, uncles and relatives on both the LoPiccolo and Spagnola sides.
A celebration of her life and memorial mass will be celebrated sometime in June of 2024 and will be announced.
The family would like to thank all the staff for their special care and love that was shown to JoAnne during her stays at these specific places, Westminster Manor, Camillus Ridge, Finger Lakes Center for Living and the exceptional care from doctors Sharon Brangman and Joseph Graney.
