Joyce E. Komoroski

Joyce E. Komoroski, 76 of King Ferry passed away June 16,2024 at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca after a brief illness.
   She was born in Auburn and was an area life resident.  Together with her husband, Tom, they owned and operated, T & K Lumber in Elbridge for more than 50 years. Joyce enjoyed in her earlier years, snowmobiling. She also liked taking an occasional trip to one of our local casinos and cooking and baking for her family and friends. Joyce cherished all the special times spent with her family and especially loved the many memories made with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
  She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Thomas Komoroski, three children, Mary (Michael) Novack, Cathy (Ed) Corella, Thomas (Diane) Komoroski Jr., several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a brother James (Mary Beth) Adams as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
  She was predeceased by her parents James and Frieda Jaskow, two sons, Christopher and Angelo, four siblings, Eleanor Brown, Lyndia Penird, Helen Mahanna and Michael Mahanna.
  A celebration of Joyce’s life will be held at a future date that will be announced by the family.
