Judith M. (Jones) Iovine, 75 of Endicott, NY and formerly of Auburn, passed away unexpectedly at her home, February 29, 2024.
She was born and raised in Auburn, NY the daughter of the late Mary (Brooks) and Robert L. ‘Pete’ Jones Sr. and resided in the Binghamton area for most of her adult life. She was a very devout Catholic and former member of both Holy Family Church in Auburn and St. Anthony’s of Padua in Endicott. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan and has amassed an extensive collection of his memorabilia. Judy loved to cook and entertain for her family and friends over the years with many special gatherings and holiday feasts. She will be sadly missed by all who fortunate enough to get to know her.
She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 53 years, Anthony Iovine Jr. of Endicott, two beloved children, Connie and Anthony Iovine III, five siblings, Sharon (Bill) Farelly, Terry Jones, Rickey Jones (Melody Sakran), George Jones (Fran Tohafjian), Tammy (Rick) Dumas, a brother-in-law Dominic (Jackie) Iovine as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and her loving feline companion, Clifford.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by four brothers, infant Donald, Ronald, Dennis and Robert Jones.
A calling hour will be held this Friday, March 8th from 10:00 am until 11:00 am in Holy Family Church with her mass of Christian burial to immediately follow at 11:00 am, in the church, 85 North St.,Auburn. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one's choice.
