Kenneth James Sylvester

Kenneth J. Sylvester, 38 passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 8, 2024 at his home.

  He was born in Auburn the son of Lori (Sawyer) Sylvester and the late Kenneth Sylvester. 'KJ' as he was known by his family and friends was a Port Byron High School graduate, Class of 2003. He was currently employed by Medent, as an IT specialist for the past 20 years. Ken was a very high skilled 'Gamer' . KJ led a very private and simple life, enjoying the company of his beloved feline companion, 'Moe'. If there two words that best describe, Kenny, it would be Kind and Gentle. He will be sadly missed.

  He is survived by his loving mother, Lori Sylvester and her significant other, Christopher Podgorny, two sisters, Nicole (Fred) Babiarz, Aaliyah Sylvester, a niece Kenleigh Babiarz, his beloved grandmother Lorraine Sylvester as well as several aunts,uncles and cousins.

 He was predeceased by his best friend, his father Kenneth Sylvester.

Friends are invited to join the family for a calling hour this Saturday, July 13th from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm, with a brief service to follow, all inside of the funeral home, 196 Genesee St.,Auburn. Burial will be private in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
