Linda M. Rathbun

Linda M. (Chilson) Rathbun, 69 of Throop, passed away early Wednesday morning, February 8,2023 at Auburn Community Hospital.
  She was born in Auburn, the daughter of the late Hank and Anna Mae (Lacey) Chilson and had been an area life resident. Linda loved and cherished her family. She enjoyed swimming, cooking and baking, especially her almost famous, ‘Chocolate salad dressing cake’. Linda loved all the special memories that were made with her family. The countless campfires were also some of her fondest memories with her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.
  She is survived by her loving six children, Steven (Audra) Rathbun, Timothy Rathbun, William (Samali) Rathbun, Jennifer Dennis, Matthew (Shannon) Rathbun, Nicholas (Amber-Marie) Rathbun, 12 beloved grandchildren, 3 great- grandchildren, two siblings, William Chilson, Judith Chilson, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
  In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband Steven and four siblings, Allen, James, Patricia and Brenda Chilson.
  The family will greet any friends Saturday, February 18th in the Elks Lodge at 3:00 pm, for a calling hour, followed by dinner at 4:00 pm.
