Obituary
Linda Marie (Morrissette) Wilbur, 72 of North Ft. Myers and mostly of Memphis, NY, passed away March 25,2023 at Lee Health Hospital in Cape Coral, FL.
She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of the late, Alcide and Mary Rita (Godreau) Morrissette. Linda was employed for many years by Auburn Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, planting flowers, watching hummingbirds and having an occasional glass of wine. Linda was also an excellent cook and baker, having made some of the most special cakes for her family and friends. Linda cherished above everything; the times spent with her family. She will be sadly missed.
She is survived by her children, Anna- Marie (Don) Peters, Renee Hawker (Dave), Andrew Wilbur Jr., seven grandchildren, Cassandra, Ryan, Tasha, Sabrena, Izabella, Aubrianna, Jameson, ten great- grandchildren, 12 siblings as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Linda was also predeceased by her husband Andrew Wilbur Sr., a grandson Nicholas Hawker and brother Dale Morrissette.
A graveside service for family and friends will be held this Friday at 11 AM in Riverview Cemetery in Baldwinsville.
