Lorraine E. Eastman

Lorraine E. Eastman, 69 of Auburn passed away Thursday evening April 24,2025 at Auburn Community Hospital.
  She was born in Oneida, NY the daughter of the late Henry and Margrit (Kretschmar) Buckingham and resided most of her life in the Auburn area. She previously worked as the property manager at Brighton Towers in Syracuse for several years. Lorraine also sold Rubbermaid products and worked at Crown Tire. She enjoyed attending concerts and car shows. Lorraine was a highly skilled wine connoisseur. Above everything, Lorraine loved and cherished the many special opportunities she was fortunate to have with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
  She is survived by her loving children, son Michael (Tanya) Herrling, daughter Sheena (Michael) Ward, five grandchildren, Katelyn, Ryan, Ashton, Brooklyn, Kelsey, longtime companion and fiancé Craig Nye, two siblings, sister Loretta Shumar, brother Henry Buckingham, several nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved canine companion Jilly and feline friends Willow and Phoenix.
  In addition to her parents, Lorraine was also predeceased by her husband Ronald in 2007.
  Friends are invited to join the family for calling hours, at the Throop Volunteer Fire Department Hall, Thursday May 1st from 1 to 4 pm, 7159 Beech Tree Rd.
