Lourdes J. Massanet

Lourdes J. Massanet, 61 of Syracuse passed away unexpectedly Monday, February 24,2020 at her home.
She was born in Puerto Rico the daughter of the late Juan Luis Massanet and Carmen Hilda Sierra Alvarado. Lourdes moved to NYC in 1987 and soon after relocated  to Syracuse to begin her family.  Lourdes enjoyed children, and would begin her own day care career  at her home for several years. She also loved to work with crafts and had an enormous collection of dolls and angels.  Lourdes formerly worked as an assistant manager at Big Lots in Syracuse. She will be sadly missed by the lives she touched.
She is survived by her longtime, loving companion Jorge Delvalle, two sons Jorge Delvalle Jr. and Jesus Delvalle, two grandchildren Alexandra and Mirziel Delvalle, a beloved brother Angel Massanet as well as several other siblings and extended family members in Puerto Rico.
She was predeceased by her parents and three children. 

A memorial service will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
