Marcella Feeter

Marcella A. Feeter, 98, passed into the loving embrace of her Lord on July 20. She was the daughter of Karol and Catherine Janusz and a life resident of the Auburn area. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Auburn and a retiree of Welch-Allyn.

A devoted and supportive family matriarch, Marcy leaves behind her sons Robert (Connie) and Ronald and her daughter Karen Jetty. She treasured her wonderful granddaughters Kristen Jetty (Jim Goritski), Tamy Hewitt (Glenn), Melissa Beeles (Wes), Danielle Feeter (Joe Knapp), Reynada Feeter, and Rachel Linton. Her many great-grandchildren were part of her cherished family, as well as honorary grandchildren Kimberly and Jimmy. Her wonderful granddaughters were integral in providing gentle care and comfort, as did her daughter-in-law Connie and caregiver, Sue Bouley

Over the years, Marcy lost her husband Harold, grandson Eric, and infant daughter Kathleen Ann, in addition to her stepson Richard and his children Jasonand Jody. Also surviving Marcy are a number of Richard’s extended family. She has one brother, Richard Janusz, but lost 2 brothers and 2 sisters and was aunt to several nieces and nephews. Marcy was pet parent to sweet kitty Chloe and a number of great dogs, notably Jiggs and Skeeter.

Marcy always made time for family and enjoyed cooking Polish food and baking, especially Christmas treats and her famous apple pie. She was one of a kind and will always have a special place in our hearts.

Calling hours will be Thursday July 25 from 4-6 at Pettigrass Funeral Home. A funeral Mass at St. Mary’s in Auburn will be at 10:30 the following day, with interment at St. Joseph’s.

Memorial donations may be directed to the American Heart Association or the Beverly Animal Shelter, 50 East River Road, Waterloo, NY  13165, or your charity of choice.
