Margaret Bowen

Margaret A. Bowen, 85 of Auburn passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon , October 14,2025, surrounded by many of her beloved family members.

  She was born in Baltimore and lived  her later years in the Auburn,NY area. Margaret adored and loved her family above everything. She cherished all the many special times she was fortunate to spend with each of them. She also enjoyed an occasional trip to one of our local casinos or playing BINGO or different card games with family and friends. She also liked taking part of the senior trips by the btw. 

  She is survived by her loving children, daughters, Margaret Gould, Lucinda (Mark) Baskerville, grandchildren, Sean (Erica) Helmick, Justin (Cierria) Helmick, Joshua (Lynae)  Helmick, Cierra (Tim) Mineker, Shamierra Parker, Jaylieanna Bowen, Frank Tomasek Jr., Brandon ( MaKayla)  Tomasek, Jafar Torkpour, Krysta Powell, Margaret  McCafferty, John Bowen, Charles Gould, Rebecca Gould, an abundance of great-grandchildren, as well as several other relatives and friends.

  In addition to her parents, Margaret was also predeceased by her husband John , wife Barbara , son Frank Tomasek and several siblings.

  Calling hours are next Thursday, October 23rd from 3-5 pm with services to immediately follow, all inside of Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St.,Auburn.
