Margaret Ann (Doyle) Valentino

AUBURN - Margaret Ann (Doyle) Valentino, 91, of Auburn was born March 8, 1933 and passed away February 18, 2025 at Auburn Community Hospital with her loving family by her side. Margaret was born in Weedsport, N.Y. to the daughter of the late John and Alice Doyle (McLaughlin). In addition to her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Pasquale (Pat) Valentino; her brothers, Harold (Joe) Doyle and Don Doyle.

Margaret was employed by Auburn Spark Plug then went on to work for General Electric where she retired from. Mom's favorite times were her Sunday dinners with her family and going to every one of her grandchildren's sporting events. Mom was a devoted parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church.

Margaret is survived by her sister, Mabel Plantz; her five sons, Mark (Stephanie), Donald (Wendy), Patrick (Rose), Richard (Sue), and Matthew (Tess); her grandchildren, Trent, Noah, Joshua, Joey (Sarah) Jim, Marin (Damien), Jacob, Richie, Abby (Dominic), Justin (Mia), Kristen, Alyssa, Marisa (Victoria), Jamison, and Nicholas. Margaret is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Francesca, Dominic, Emilia; along with several nieces and nephews. Margaret is survived by her faithful feline companion of 20 years, Mandy.

The family would like to state a special thank you to the nurses on 3rd Memorial at Auburn Community Hospital for their kindness and comfort.

Viewing will be Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 303 Clark St., Auburn, N.Y. 13021. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Margaret can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
