Marilyn Del Favero Obituary

 

Marilyn A. (Blowers) Del Favero, 89 of Auburn, passed away peacefully, Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Auburn Community Hospital, with most of her loving family at her side and holding her hand.

  She was a life resident of Auburn, the daughter of the late, Henry and Mildred (Burroughs) Blowers. Marilyn enjoyed knitting, reading and taking an occasional trip to one of our local casino's. Above everything, she cherished the many special times with her family. She will be deeply missed by all of them.

  She is survived by her loving children, her daughter, Suzanne (David) Gould, of Auburn; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Del Favero Turkett; three sons, Dale (Kathy), of California, Michael (Lynette), of Jordan, and Louis Del Favero, of Auburn; four grandchildren, Tom Del Favero, Mary Del Favero, Alexis Del Favero, and Abby Del Favero; two great- grandchildren, Alice and Jonah Del Favero, siblings, Patricia Bliss, Henry 'Skip' (Joyce) Blowers, Suzie Emerson, Cheryl Johnson, Bernadine Gleason, Bernard Blowers, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

  In addition to her parents, Marilyn was also predeceased by her husband Victor 'Vic' in 2015, a sister Jean Martinez, brother Robert Blowers and sister-in-law Fran Blowers.

  Calling hours are this Saturday, May 4th from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm in St. Francis of Assisi Church. Marilyn's Mass of Christian burial will immediately follow the calling hours in the church, 299 Clark St.,Auburn,NY 13021.

  In lieu of flowers, any donations made in Marilyn's memory, please donate to, Hospice of CNY, 990 7th N. Street, Liverpool, NY 13088.

  Marilyn was kept alive for many extra special years, due to the exceptional care she received at home, especially by Sue Middleton, Missy Enge, Missy McIntosh, Jeanne Hardy and Alex MacPartland. The family can't thank you enough for the extra care and compassion that was shown to her.
