Mark A. Lovell, 52 passed away, January 30,2024 after injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born in Auburn, the son of Deborah (Bingham) and the late William Lovell and had resided most of his life in Central New York. Mark graduated from Cato-Meridan High School, Class of 1989 and received his associate degree from Cayuga Community College. He spent most of his life in the automotive industry, working for more than 25 years for the former Summitt Auto Group. He also worked for West Herr and currently was employed as the sales manager at Bidleman Ford. He was an avid Star Wars and Transformer fan, collecting many different items from both. Mark also loved off- roading and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dezarae (Durbin) Lovell, his mother Deborah Lovell, stepson Brody Carr, siblings, Daniel A. Lovell (Claire), Benjamin D. Lovell (Jennifer), Rebekah Spink (Michael), Mary R. Lovell, half-sister Kathy Kuon, brother-in-law Derrick Durbin (Kristy), mother-in-law and father-in-law. Beth (Bean) and John Durbin as well as many special and well-loved nieces and nephews. Mark is also survived by his beloved canine friends Bella, Gigi and feline companion, Pixel.
Calling hours this Friday afternoon, February 9th from 2-4 pm with a service to immediately follow at 4 pm, all inside of Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St., Auburn.
