Michael P. Iocolano, 56 of Harleysville, PA and formerly of Auburn passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon April 3,2019 in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Auburn, the son of Bridget ( Vitale) Iocolano and the late Anthony Iocolano and had resided most of his life in the Pennsylvania area. Mike was an Auburn High School graduate, Class of 1981. He continued his education and received a bachelors degree from Le Moyne College and a Masters degree from Temple University in Pharmaceuticals Law. Mike was employed for more than 28 years as a narcotics design and specialist for the Merck Pharmaceutical Company. He loved motorcycle’s and enjoyed every chance he had to ride his Harley. Mike cherished the times spent with his family and will be sadly missed.
He is survived by his loving mother Bridget ( Vitale) Iocolano of Auburn, sister Mary Beth ( George) Wilson of East Syracuse, nephew Brandon ( Danielle) Wilson, two nieces Jenna and Mia Wilson as well as an uncle several aunts, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his father Anthony.
Friends and relatives are invited to join the family this Tuesday at 10:00 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church for Michael’s Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will be in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum. Calling hours are Monday from 3-7 pm in Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St., Auburn.
