Michelle S. Halstrom, 63 of Auburn passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family and friends on Friday, June 12, 2026.
Michelle was the daughter of the late Donald Halstrom and Thelma West. She graduated high school from Cincinnatus Central, Class of 1981 and later continued her education receiving a bachelor's degree from SUNY Cortland. Michelle enjoyed going to her day program Choices for Change. She also loved to crochet, solve puzzles, and scrapbooking. While she wasn't doing arts and crafts, she could be found watching the morning news or her favorite NASCAR driver Kyle Busch win a race. She was an active member of Owasco Reformed Church. Despite everything she had gone through in her life, she always kept her faith and a bright outlook on life. She will be deeply missed by the countless hearts she touched.
She is survived by her two sons Justin, and William(Emily), brother Don, stepsisters Melody(Dave), Kelly, and Heather, stepmom Brenda Davis, nephew Jake(Marissa), niece Jess(Anthony), special friends Roy Kurtz, his dog Millie and Jen(Les) Liese, and especially her cat Oreo
