Paul Shepardson Sr.

Paul Shepardson Sr., 90 of Auburn passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, October 3,2024 in Auburn Community Hospital.
  He was born in Auburn, the son of the late, Dorothy (Hopkins) and Thomas Shepardson Sr. Paul served in the Army and National Guard. He  was employed for many years by Sylvania in Seneca Falls and retired from Seneca Cayuga ARC. Paul was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He also loved shooting pool, golfing , bowling, gardening and playing cards with his family and friends. Paul was an avid Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees sports fan.  He cherished all the special times he was fortunate enough to have spent with his family and will be sadly missed by all of them.
  He is survived by his loving children, Norma Shepardson, Paul ( Dianna) Shepardson Jr., Nancy Shepardson, Michelle ‘Chelli’ O’Connor and fiancé Milton Johns Jr., grandchildren, Scott Cardinell, Tara ( Chad) Smolen, Jamie O’Connor ( fiancé Kimberly Kimmers), Shannon ( Jennifer) Ray, Jonathon (Janelle) Buck, great- grandchildren, Gavin and Garrison Cardinell, Gracie Smolen, Chance Cardinell, Jamie O’Connor Jr, Jasper O’Connor, Connor Ray, Tatum Buck, a brother John ‘ Jack’ ( Millie) Shepardson, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his wife Jeanne, and siblings, Virginia Rounds, Victor, Thomas and Roger Shepardson.
  Calling hours are this Wednesday afternoon in the Pettigrass Funeral Home , from 4-6 pm with a service to immediately follow after , in the funeral home, 196 Genesee St., Auburn.
